The Christmas Moomin mug was sold in two consecutive years 2004 and 2005. While hibernating, the Moomins are going to miss Christmas. However one year the Moomins are awakened, so they get to celebrate Christmas.
This special version of the Christmas mug features a TietoEnator logo on the bottom. TietoEnator was an IT company active from 1999 to 2008. Today the same company is known as Tietoevry. In the 90’s and early 00’s Arabia made special editions of familiar Moomin mugs printing company logos on the bottom or inside the mug. These mugs were then given to company employees or as a corporate gift to other interest groups. The companies Arabia had a collaboration with were TietoEnator, General Electric, Finnair and Aamulehti to name a few.
