The 2021 Summer seasonal Moomin mug Together continues the same theme with the 2019 Summer seasonal Moomin mug Evening Swim. On both Moomin mugs the Moomins enjoy their day on the beach. Moomin mug Together shows Moominpappa playing solitaire, Moominmamma making crepes and Snorkmaiden focusing on her book.
The mug’s illustrations are based on Tove Jansson’s comic book Moomin on the Riviera (1955). Snorkmaiden has spent all the winnings from the casino in Riviera and the Moomin family is forced to sleep their night on the beach under their boat. Illustrator Tove Slotte has brought to life the original black and white comic strips by Tove Jansson by giving them a gentle color scheme that fits well with earlier Arabia Moomin mugs. The Arabia Together set includes a mug, a plate and spoons.
